Du vieux château, il ne reste que le portail et une tour, mais la ferme est toujours là, avec son ancienne grange, rénovée avec soin, prête à vous accueillir, au cœur d'un petit village champêtre, tout près de Saint-Lô.
Denis vous ouvre grand les portes de sa ferme pour vous faire découvrir son métier tandis que Maryse vous fait retrouver le sens des gestes simples, essentiels…
Partagez avec vos enfants le plaisir de s'occuper d'un bébé lapin, de nourrir Biquette, de caresser Philibert le cheval, d'aller ramasser les œufs ou encore d’aller chercher les vaches au champ avant d’assister à la traite...
Sensible à l'agriculture raisonnée, Denis vous expliquera son implication dans le respect de son environnement pour préserver les générations futures…

nous rentrons de normandie où nous avons passé un super séjour. le gite est très beau, belle deco, tout confort. les propriétaires sont adorables, hyper dispo pour les enfants: découverte de tous les animaux, vaches, chèvres, poules, canards, ânes, lapins. et, cerise sur le gâteau, on nous offre le lait tous les jours!!

We have already hired quite a few gites in France/Germany/Belgium over the last 10 years but we never saw a gite as clean and well decorated as this one! In reality it looks even nicer than in the pictures. We had a very warm welcome with freshly baked apple cake and we even found fresh flowers on the table!
At the beginning of our stay we got a very interesting guided visit of the farm and for the rest of our stay we were free to come and watch all the animals whenever we wanted (which the kids liked very much of course, especially watching the two new born calves).
The gite is very well located: lots of things to see and do in the region. You can find loads of tourist information at the gite. The area is also very nice to walk and cycle (if you don't mind going up and down of course). Some walking tours starting at the gite are described in a very nice folder where you will also find some history on the gite and the region.
We can recommand this gite to everyone and we will certainly come back!

Nous avons séjourné à Noël, en famille dans le gîte rural de la Luzerne et nous avons été enchantés ! Très bon accueil ! Une mention spéciale pour le gâteau aux pommes "maison" offert par les propriétaires à l'arrivée !
Un gîte propre, très bien décoré, calme, à la campagne, avec des animaux de la ferme et du bon lait frais... c'était FORMIDABLE !
Nous reviendrons c'est certain ! :o)
